🎄December TRB and Last Months Wrap Up!🎄

Last month was my best reading month since finishing uni and being on break! I have finally picked up more books because I’ve been on Uni vacation! You can find the books I’ve read previously on this blog as I have written out blog reviews for them.

This month I want to change the way my TBR’s works. From now on I’m going to set myself one book as a set reading, but allow myself the freedom to choose other books to read during the month.

My set reading for this month will be a book I have been wanting so badly to read. This would be *drum roll please!*

More Than This by Patrick Ness!

I will also be continuing with my other books from my last months TBR, which include:

The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt

Sleeping Giants by Sylvain Neuvel

Which hopefully won’t take long, I have a pretty decent amount of pages left, but I will have it finished by this month!

🍁🍂 September TBR Wrap-up!🍃🍂

Hello!!

Last month I set myself a goal of reading 5 books that I recently brought when splurging at Dymocks. Last month I only got around to reading one full book and three quarters of another. This was mainly due to being very busy at Uni with assessments and what not. I’m disappointed really that I didn’t get to read the books I told myself I would read last month, so this month I’m going to just give myself 3 books, just so I can achieve this goal during the October month.

The books that I read fully was ‘Ugly Love’ by Colleen Hoover (Book Review can be found here!). This books was a little disappointing to me, It was very hyped up so when I brought it I was trusting all the reviews of this book from either bookstagram or goodreads and didn’t end up reading the blurb, so I had no clue what it was about until I opened it up and started reading (yeah I know, I’m a bit silly). Don’t get me wrong, parts of this book made me laugh and smile like a weirdo when I read it, but it was just a little confusing and in certain parts I just wanted to scream at the characters because they got on my nerves. However, I did rate this book a 4/5 stars and I do recommend that you read it, however read the blurb and see if you like that first!!

The second book I’m still reading is ‘The Assassins Blade’ by Sarah J. Maas. This book is good so far, however I’m getting really distracted whilst reading it. I only end up reading a few chapters then leaving it (this would be mainly because I have been hooked on the series ‘Tomorrow when the war began’ by John Marsden and seriously can’t put it down right now) However this book has been pretty good. I love the characters, especially Sam, like seriously *insert love heart eyes emoji here* and the main characters is also quite an awesome character. A full book review will be published later when I finish the book (which hopefully won’t be too long)

Thank you for reading!

Octobers TBR will be up on my blog very soon (hopefully tomorrow!)
